This technology is constantly developing and and is recognised by Christ Kennicott as a key process in the pretreatment of downstream membrane processes such as Reverse Osmosis. We have designed and supplied UF plants as both pretreatment plants to Seawater Reverse Osmosis plants and ion exchange plants.
Through the use of our in-house Ultrafiltraion Pilot rigs we can work alongside customers to determine the optimum solution in terms of membrane typeand flux rate before designing a complete system.
Our Ultafiltration systems are fully skidded and are supported by fully automatic backwashing and cleaning systems to ensure trouble free and reliable operation.
All recognised UF manufactureres including DOW, KOCH, HYDRANAUTICS, INGE, NORIT & ZENON are available to us.
We have experience in the following applications:
- Pretreatment to Reverse Osmosis sytems with SDI
- Reduction in Coilloidal Silica
- Treatment of River /Surface waters for removal of suspended solids/ turbidity
- Reduction in TOC with pre-coagulation
