April, 2009

In March 2009 Aqua Engineering SA in partnership with Christ Kennicott Water Technology were selected by ESKOM, South Africa’s utility provider to design, supply and install one of the largest Condensate Polishing plants in the world. Each of the six turbines generators making up the ‘Six –Pack’ will be provided with separate Cation and Anion polishing, all of which are externally regenerated via a common remote regeneration station.
The MEDUPI power station ( 6 x 750MW Coal fired ) is the largest air cooled, coal fired power station in the world and is due on line in 2012.

Christ Kennicott have a long association with South Africa, having supplied their CONESEP®  technology for the ARNOT power station over 15 years ago.

Our experience in designing Condensate Polishing Plants around the world and our superior resin removal and separation technology was a key factor in our selection for this prestigious project.
